Amber is a local physiotherapist, having previously worked across hospital, outpatients and now has a MSK & pelvic health private practice in Nth Freo (Mint Wellbeing). She has spent time on maternity wards, working alongside amazing midwives and LC’s, and has been using therapeutic ultrasound in the field of breastfeeding since graduation. During the covid years, Amber kept herself productive by gaining a Diploma in Human Lactation. With her new found knowledge, and the publication of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine’s mastitis guidelines (2022), Amber launched a lactation course for physiotherapists - “The Mastitis Spectrum”. The course trains physio's in the appropriate use of Ultrasound, and to provide the most up-to-date advice for breastfeeding parents. Amber is passionate about empowering breastfeeding parents, and other health professionals, with evidence-based knowledge to support their individual breastfeeding goals. She enjoys giving physio's confidence in recognising the various diagnoses across the mastitis spectrum, to direct the very best care and investigations for their patients.

Eve is an Endorsed Midwife, IBCLC lactation consultant and the owner of Best start Lactation Consultancy. Eve spent many years working in the public hospital system and community as a Midwife, and this is where her passion grew to support new mums establish a healthy breastfeeding relationship. Since setting up her own business, Eve’s client base has expanded beyond the newborn age, and the team at Best Start work with families from the first feed right through to the final feed and weaning, providing evidence-based care, continuity, and support to help them navigate the common and complex lactation issues.
